Now - where does he work? Paula works for the Office of the President of Fiji. No - He is not the President of the Fiji Islands - regardless of what his name tag states - a major promotion given to him by ASCI..lols!
Now, this is one person I have never met before in my life - but at the time we met- it seemed like I had known him well before. Paul is very friendly, has a real sense of humour, has a likeable personality and has absolute confidence in himself.
I must say that having Paul as a companion for this trip has enabled a little bit more endurance for the month. Truly a great person to know and a good friend to have.
The following are Paul's responses to the questions posed:
i. How was your trip to Hyderabad?
Amazing and an exprience for me E.g Long wait at the airport. In fact - we waited for 8 hours at Hong kong and another 8 hours at Bengaluru - so it was very tiring. But the highlight of it was - people continued to stare at me especially at Bengaluru Airport - It must be my good looks....lols!! A little later, I realise that Mele and I were the only non-Indians at the Airport - hence the stares - but - the attention was overwhelming..lols.
ii. What does this place remind you of?
It reminds me of the Universities back in Fiji.
iii. What is your first impression of ASCI?
The beautiful surroundings. Very beautiful and I felt at home.
iv. How do you like your fellow class members?
They are lively and crazy participants, especially..no - better not give any names..lols
v. Any issues on the food?
vi. Would you recommend this place to other persons from your Country?
Yes definitely.
vii. Anything else you would like to raise?
The experinced faculty taking up our lectures - they need to be applauded.
viii. Do you miss your family?-
Yes for the first 2 days only. .(.Well well - I suppose Paul can stay for a few more weeks then...lols)
ix. What is your most memorable moment here at ASCI...?
Meeting and getting to know each other.
.........................................
ASCI will hold many dear memories for us - and I am sure for Paul as well....the place, the faculties, the lectures, the food and more importantly our fellow classmates.
